Penny Panda is the creation of Lisa Appleabeary, renowned teddy bear artist. This furry friend is made of luxurious and colorful 100% German Mohair. Scientists have debated for more than a century whether the giant pandas belong to the bear family, the raccoon family, or a separate family of their own.
Penny Panda is a beautiful violet and rich white Mohair. Penny and Pammy Panda (another Lisa Applebeary creation) are the best of Panda friends. They are the first two in the Lisa Applebeary colorful Panda series. Lisa is known for her bows, and we call them "Lisa bows". She has chosen a soft gossamer shimmering ribbon to complement her panda.
The mohair fabric is completely hand-cut and hand-sewn. The nose and mouth have also been skillfully hand stitched. Penny Panda (10") is also fully jointed.
